Since joining RTÉ in 1998, I have been fortunate to have had a varied career based across a cross-section of RTÉ. Having qualified and worked initially in a technical environment, in Broadcast Engineering, both as an engineer and later in Management, my career then took an exciting turn when I seized the opportunity to bring my broadcast knowledge to an Audience-facing position as Media Spokesperson for the Digital Switchover campaign, Saorview. These varying roles have equipped me well for the challenges of my current position as Integrated Media Solutions Manager with the RTÉ Media Sales team and I’m very much looking forward to whatever madness the media world intends to throw at me, and us, in the future.
